CarMindr garage service coming soon…

In September 2011, we launched http://carmindr.com a free reminder service for MOTs.

Very shortly we will be launching the garage service of the same.

CarMindr provides, email, SMS textand postal reminders through an automated, web based system. We have built a garage system that allows staff in a garage set and manage reminders for customers. So from a single portal, you will be able to set reminders for MOTs, Road Tax Discs, Services and more.

You will be able to decide what sorts of reminders to use, how often and how many to send and get reports on how many reminders are set, how many sent, etc.

It’s an exciting time and we look forward to live testing it with some select garages in the very near future. Please contact us if you are interested in trying it out.

2012 Commonwealth Judo Championships

Last week (22 January – 25 January 2012), enVirtua was involved in the delivery of the 2012 Commonwealth Judo Championships in Cardiff, Wales.

For us, it involved one 39 hour day and another 20 hour day.

We delivered not only the website, but the onsite infrastructure for the event, liaising with the technical staff at the Wales Millenium Centre, the tournament organisers and the representatives of the European Judo Union running the tournament and streaming it live onto the internet.

Working a live sporting event is very challenging and very rewarding. We were involved in everything from running CAT5 and RG59 cabling, through to setting up laptops and internet connectivity.

Events like this are not part of our regular day to day roles, so it was a great challenge to help the small organisational team put on a spectacular event that has featured on S4C TV in Wales and next month shall feature on SkySports across the UK.

We would like to thank all the volunteers, officials and athletes who helped make the event special.

Welcome to 2012.

Welcome to 2012,

enVirtua had a busy 2011 and 2012 is looking as busy! We were fortunate to be involved in the delivery of a number of elite level Judo competitions and are working hard through January to deliver the IT side of the 2012 Commonwealth Judo Championships in Cardif, Wales.

Although very busy, we welcome enquiries from people interested in our services.
